ASE Optranet : Extranet

With at least 2300 affiliated Opticians, ASE EyecarePlans decided to pioneer a new dynamic approach bt creating an online environment. These affiliates are supplied with a wealth of information and tools to assist each practice with unique promotions and targeted awareness.

The Optranet has taken eleven months from the strategy and planning through to the delivery of the online system. The interface design is similar to the ASE Extranet with the addition of useful online tools to enable each practice to generate personalised marketing and awareness campaigns.

Each Optician is notified via an automated email when new content is added to the Optranet by ASE personnel, these might include statements, remittance advice notes, newsletters and other marketing related materials. They are able to view the files through a password protected environment and have the facility to communicate with ASE via a live dynamic text panel.

This project is part of ASE's drive to create a paperless office and contribute to a greener environment.
